My Journey Through Lamar's First 8-Week Courses

Reflecting on my experience at Lamar, it’s been quite a journey. Initially, I found it confusing to have the same professor for two different classes. At first, I wasn’t sure how that would work out, but it turned out to be a blessing. Having a familiar face made navigating the coursework a bit easier, and it allowed for deeper discussions across both subjects.

When I started, I thought my time at Lamar would be a struggle, and while it hasn’t been a walk in the park, I’ve learned to adapt. I really doubted myself and thought I wouldn't even get through the first two classes. But now? I can hardly believe I’ve made it to the end of my first 8-week courses! Looking back, I’m amazed at how far I’ve come and the growth I’ve experienced in such a short time. Each challenge pushed me to improve, and I now feel more confident in my abilities than I ever thought possible. It's been a rewarding experience that has taught me the value of perseverance and resilience.
